Basement Units
Introducing AirTech’s Basement Ventilators
AirTech-BVS | AirTech-BVC | AirTech-BVH
General Information
All units carry patents in the US and Canada. Each is certified by the Home Ventilating Institute, the benchmark of performance in the US, Canada & Asia.
Air Tech® units consistently bring fresher, drier air into your home while using less energy than a 40 watt light bulb. Now that’s BRIGHT!
The AirTech System will pay for itself quickly by reducing the usage encountered with conventional dehumidifiers to times of extreme humidity conditions. You will not only save a considerable amount of money, but also increase your minimal residential indoor air changes/ventilation requirements, as recommended by *ASHRAE standard 62.2.
*ASHRAE(American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers).
- Improve air quality
- Reduce window condensation
- Reduce excess humidity and musty odor
- Replace damp, humid air with warm, dry air
- Use very little electricity (models vary from 31 to 38 watts)
- Do not require excessive ductwork – vented just like a dryer
- Include a summertime humidity control system
- No buckets to empty!
- Three models to choose from.
AirTech’s basement ventilators are designed for homes with full basements and come in three different models.
The AirTech-BVS is the basement ventilator standard model. It is adjustable in height from 86.5” to 102” and can accommodate a basement of up to 1,500 square feet.
The AirTech-BVC is the basement ventilator compact model. Like the standard model, it can accommodate a basement of up to 1,500 square feet. The difference is that it is 51” tall to accommodate basements with partial walls.
The AirTech-BVH is the basement ventilator heavy duty model. It is adjustable in height from 86.5” to 102” and can accommodate a basement or some commercial applications of up to 2,100 square feet.
All models are air evacuation systems that are installed in the basement. Compact and discrete, they are designed to be placed against a wall and blend with the decor.

How It Works – AirTech Humidity Solutions
Moist air is heavier than dry air, and tends to settle in the lowest part of the home. Air Tech units draw moist, stale air from the lowest point of the structure, dealing with the root of the problem. Stagnant air is expelled outside through the unit vent.
At the same time, drier, fresher air is drawn down from the upper levels of the home. With this process, your home has a complete air exchange from six to ten times a day.
Using an adjustable humidistat, the unit will reduce or increase speed to address rising or falling humidity. Even on high, Air Tech units use on 38 watts of electricity, costing roughly $3.00 a month to operate.
